A PLUCKY postie’s daily route takes him around Britain’s ‘most haunted’ village — to spookily named Grave Lane and Cackle Hill.
Robin Medcalf, 53, has been delivering to Pluckley, Kent, for the past eight years — and he might be forgiven for looking over his shoulder at Halloween.
The village is notorious for its ghouls, allegedly having 15 sightings in recent times.
Local pubs The Black Horse and The Blacksmith’s Arms are both thought to be home to ghosts.
Postie Robin’s 17-mile route takes him to Cobwebs Cottage and through Screaming Woods, where brave souls spend the night camping.
But he insists the village is a ‘wonderful’ place.
Robin said: ‘Despite its ghoulish back story, Pluckley is a wonderful community to deliver to.
‘The only spirits that I’ve seen personally are the ones in the local pub.
‘But it’s amazing to see all the ghost enthusiasts flock to the village from all over the world.’
