Daniel Sturridge’s Lucci strike! Star and dog reunited after £30k appeal

Man, I got him: Killa Fame tweets photos of Lucci

FOOTBALLER Daniel Sturridge has been reunited with his beloved Pomeranian dog, who was kidnapped from his US home.

The former Liverpool and England striker had offered a £30,000 reward for the return of Lucci after the raid on the Los Angeles mansion.

Yesterday, it was confirmed a deal had been brokered on social media.

It came after a rapper called Killa Fame posted photos of a boy holding a dog with the same markings as Lucci.

He later tweeted the 29-year-old star, saying: ‘Man I got him.’ In a video he posted, the boy can be seen holding the pet as a man off camera says: ‘Mr, I found your dog. Here it is right here, Mr Sturridge. I got the dog right now.’

It is unclear whether the rapper was involved in the dog’s return or whether any money changed hands. LAPD officers do not believe the person who returned it was associated with the crime.

Police took DNA prints at Sturridge’s West Hollywood mansion, where burglars had smashed the back door to pieces.

He previously uploaded an emotional video pleading repeatedly for the safe return of the dog.
