A GUNMAN clutching a silenced pistol sprints off seconds after shooting a man and teenage boy in the street.

The dramatic moment was caught on dashcam by a couple returning from a shopping trip on Saturday afternoon.

They saw the gunman and his victims, aged 35 and 15, jump out of a white van. He then opened fire as the pair dived for cover behind the vehicle. Their attacker ran across the road and jumped into another vehicle before speeding off the wrong way. Both victims suffered leg injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.

The driver who filmed the scene in Solihull, West Midlands, told how he saw the gunman ‘aim’ his pistol and begin shooting. He said: ‘I was in the car with my partner on the way back from shopping when we got caught in the middle.

‘There was a silencer on the gun so we didn’t hear it but we saw shots being fired. We were afraid we were going to get shot if we got into his line of fire.’
