CARS had to swerve out of the way as a runaway bull ran on to a busy dual carriageway.
The escaped beast was spotted charging the wrong way down the fast lane of the A6 near Quorn, Leicestershire, during rush-hour on Tuesday.
Photographer Alistair Langham snapped the animal as it ran down the road. He said: ‘I saw police rushing along the dual carriageway. I managed to get myself on to a bridge overlooking it and suddenly saw this huge bull charging down the carriageway. It narrowly missed being hit by oncoming cars.’
Police closed the road for an hour to coax it off a slip road towards the farm it had escaped from.
