A BUTCHER has had to employ a doorman to enforce a strict one-in, one-out policy at his shop.
Matthew Mitchell, 42, was forced to act after panic buying sparked frantic scenes at Mitchell & Son in Blackpool. He hired friend, Colin Appleby, and put up a sign outside saying: ‘Shop Rules: One in, one out. No pushing in. Remember, we get rid of bodies for a living!’
Mr Mitchell — who insists Mr Appleby gives every customer a squirt of hand sanitiser — said: ‘It’s been crazy. We’ve had people barging in and that’s not the sort of thing we want.’
