HE HAS already battled through creepy crawlies and faced his fears on I’m A Celebrity.

And last night Harry Redknapp proved as entertaining as ever as the public voted for him to do the Deadly Dash Bushtucker Trial alongside Nick Knowles and John Barrowman.

Harry, who was appointed captain of the ’Roos team, said: ‘If it’s a dash I’ll come last, my knees won’t make it — a few years ago I’d be first.’

He then joined TV hosts Holly and Dec at the Deadly Dash area, designed like three sports tracks.

Holly warned him and fellow captains Nick Knowles and John Barrowman: ‘Over the next few days, you’ll all be battling for not only food but immunity from the first public vote-off.’

At one stage, Harry, 71, Nick, 56, and 51-year-old John could use only their mouths to collect pieces from a bucket of slime and fish guts.

Harry put his face straight in but green slime covering his goggles meant he couldn’t see where he was going. Attempting to step over a hurdle for his next piece, Harry shouted: ‘I can’t see a thing, I swear! Where’s the hurdle?!’

Finally, they had to solve a puzzle but Harry was last to complete it. ‘I can’t do puzzles Holly, I’m useless, a bit like a striker who gets in front of the goal and doesn’t score,’ said the former football boss.
