RESCUE teams from Britain and the US have joined the search for 12 boys and their football coach missing in the Tham Luang Nang Non caves in northern Thailand for five days.
UK cave experts and an American military team are now helping Thai navy Seals, whose efforts have been thwarted by heavy rain.
Yesterday, the searchers were forced to switch off power to water pumps due to electrical hazards.
‘We have to wait for the water level to decrease. (Divers) can’t do anything right now,’ said interior minister Anupong Paojinda.
However, 600 rescuers are looking for alternative shafts to reach the lost 11-16-year-olds. Officials remain hopeful they have found dry ground.
