BRIGHTON boss Graham Potter says he was impressed with elements of Tottenham’s play during their 7-2 drubbing by Bayern Munich.
With the Seagulls hosting Spurs tomorrow, Potter (pictured above) was in north London on Tuesday to watch Spurs’ Champions League humiliation.
And he felt Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino was justified in saying the first-half performance was his side’s best this season.
‘It was a really good game, from a neutral perspective,’ said Potter. ‘Tottenham were fantastic at the start of the game, they could have been two or three-nil up.
‘Bayern were very clinical. That can happen sometimes with the quality on the pitch. We focus on ourselves and what we have to do against a top team with a top manager.’
