GAP-TOOTHED plasterer Matt Fairfull, 62, vowed to keep his trademark wonky smile after his wife won a £1million lottery scratchcard jackpot.

When Marilyn, 64, was asked if her husband would be getting his teeth fixed, she said: ‘He probably will.’

But Matt immediately shot back: ‘No I won’t because it would not be me. I’m happy with the way they are. I am the governor, no matter what.’

Mind the gap: The scratchcard winners

Greeting card factory worker Marilyn joked yesterday: ‘He won’t do anything I say.’

The couple, from Stowmarket, Suffolk, aren’t planning to give up work, but they will be splashing out on a holiday — their first in ten years — to Jamaica, and a massive TV so Matt can watch the World Cup in style.

That’s something to get his teeth into.
