‘Beauty and the Beast’ e-fit released following flat raid

DETECTIVES hunting a Bonnie and Clyde-style couple suspected of a raid on a home have released e-fits of the pair — including ‘the most beautiful suspect in the world’.

The couple barged into the flat, demanded drugs then attacked a man inside, Kent Police said.

The force issued electronic photofit images of the pair and, while the male suspect is unremarkable, his sultry and pouting partner has drawn praise from the public.

E-fits show a slim woman wearing makeup and a cap with a model-like pout — and ‘eyes that can see into your soul,’ according to one admirier.

The male suspect looks gaunt and has a sunken face.

Police say the raid happened at about 10pm on Friday, July 13, in Ramsgate, Kent, before the pair ran away.

A police spokesman said: ‘A man and a woman forced their way inside a property.

‘During the incident a man was assaulted, suffering minor injuries and a coffee table was damaged.

‘The woman is described as white with dark hair and was wearing a dark baseball cap, a jacket with Kappa written on the arm, and a dark vest top underneath.

‘The man was described as white, tanned, of a thin build and about 5ft 9in tall with a gaunt face and a goatee beard.

‘He was wearing a dirty, dark grey tracksuit and a dark grey hooded top with the hood up.’

Locals have joked about how unlikely the couple seem — and have even compared them to ‘Beauty and the Beast.’

One said: ‘She’s definitely the most beautiful suspect in the world.

‘I’m no fan of crime but if she looks anything like her e-fit, I’d happily shelter her from the cops.’

Another added: ‘They’re Beauty and the Beast of Ramsgate.

‘Maybe that’s how they operate — she’s got eyes that’ll stare into your soul while he’ll half-inch your wallet.’
