SHAKIB Al HASAN scored his second century of the tournament as Bangladesh handed West Indies a seven-wicket hiding at Taunton.

Set 322 to win, Shakib (124 not out) and Liton Das — who hit three consecutive sixes off Shannon Gabriel in his unbeaten 94 — put on 189 in the Tigers’ biggest ODI chase.

It was just short of the World Cup record 329 Ireland chased to beat England in 2011 and left Bangladesh fifth in the standings, keeping alive hopes of making the semi-finals. The Windies are down in seventh.
