LEICESTER have signed Atalanta full-back Timothy Castagne on a five-year deal, subject to Premier League and international clearance, for an undisclosed fee believed to be around £22million.
Castagne has seven caps for Belgium and can operate on either side of defence. He played 35 times for Atalanta last season as the Bergamo-based side finished third in Serie A and also reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The 24-year-old is a replacement for Ben Chilwell, who recently moved to Chelsea, and joins compatriots Youri Tielemans and Dennis Praet at the King Power Stadium.
